"CHOGM Rwanda 2022 - Rethinking Mental Health : A Commonwealth Call to EMPOWER, Care and Transform"

Recent research findings and clinic records evidenced the necessity of investing in mental health in Rwanda and in the globe. In addition to elevated prevalence rates of mental disorders, limited knowledge and literacy in mental health are one of the most reported challenges that affect negatively the mental health services utilization in Rwanda. The Rwanda Psychological Society (RPS) is dedicated to community education and capacity building to humbly contribute to mental health promotion and quality service availability in Rwanda. CHOGM Rwanda 2022 is an opportune occasion to share experiences and learn best practices being developed and implemented worldwide. RPS is honored to attend the "Rethinking Mental Health: A Commonwealth Call to EMPOWER, Care and Transform", a CHOGM side event in Kigali Rwanda at Radisson Blue The Leader, Wednesday 22, June 2022, 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM.  For more here is the link: https://thecommonwealth.org/side-events-commonwealth-heads-government-meeting-2022
