The Rwanda Allied Health Professions Council (RAHPC) organized a one day validation workshop of the Professional Guidelines for Clinical Psychology on Friday, the 5th November, 2021, at Lemigo Hotel-Kigali. The following  institutions and organizations were invited and attended : MoH-Department of Clinical and Public Health Services, MoH-HRH Executive Secretariat, MoH-Cuncils Overseer, RBC-Mental Health Division, Higher Education Council, Council's Representatives (NPC, NCNM, RMDC), UR-College of Medicine and Health Sciences(CMHS), CMHS-School of Medicine and Pharmacy, CMHS-Department of Clinical Psychology, Rwanda Psychological Society(RPS), ARCT-Ruhuka, SURF Rwanda, Humanity and Inclusion, Solid Mind Clinic, Icyizere Psychiatric Centre, RAHPC Bureau, RAHPC-Board of the Clinical Psychology, RAHPC-Educational, Research and CPD Committee, HoD Mental Health Departments (CHUB, KFH, RMH, CHUK, Ndera Psychiatric Hospital).

The meeting validated the following professional guidelines : 

1. Scope of practice for Psychologists

2. Competence Standards for Psychologists

3. Standards of education and Training for Psychologists.
