The acronym stands for Continuing Professional Development, which is a set CPD “is a set of educational activities which serve to maintain, develop, or increase the knowledge, skills, and professional performance and relationships that a health care professional uses to provide services for patients, the public, or the profession. The content of CPD is that body of knowledge and skills acquired in services, generally recognized and accepted by the profession as within the health sciences, health regulations, and the provision of health care to the public.”

RPS is committed to the development of continuous training and scientific research programs to foster best practice in psychology and ensure the quality of service delivered. RPS is an accredited CPD Provider for Clinical Psychologists (N°0026/RAHPC/17) by the Rwanda Allied Health Professions Council (RAHPC). Registered and active members of RPS benefit from the CPD trainings organized by the organization, which will allow members to renew their bi-annual license, in addition to the acquired knowledge and skills.
